Rema Yoga is owned and founded by Rema in 2023.
It was set up primarily to support those who may not be able to attend a studio class and would prefer to practise online in the comfort of their own home, or wherever they may be in the world.
Rema offers personalised and tailored yoga classes to support the individual.
Rema is the founder and director of the company. She began her yoga journey in Rishikesh, India in 2005 and yoga has helped her manage a range of sport injuries, post-partum complications and bereavement. After a career in health and lifesciences she retrained as a school teacher and has brought them together in her training as a yoga teacher. She has completed the 200 hour Yoga Alliance accredited training and provides weekly yoga classes in her local area. Recently she has completed Menoyoga® Yoga for Menopause 30hr Teacher Training to provide specialised support for women in this life stage. Rema Yoga is fully insured to provide yoga classes.
Rema Yoga offers personalised 1-to-1 online sessions which fit around your schedule and ensure you can access from the comfort of your own home or when you are travelling.
The sessions are tailored to be as unique as you are!
Sessions can be used to support students to build and develop a safe and consistent practise of their own, and gain the ability to explore yoga independently or just have a few sessions to gain confidence or try something new.
The initial consultation / taster is to understand what you want to focus on whether that is developing greater flexibility, improve posture or as an antidote to the pressures of modern living. It will include a brief practise as well to provide you with a small taster to allow you to decide whether it will be a good fit.
The sessions are then booked (30 minutes or 1 hour) and will be focused on your unique needs to create space in both your mind, body and spirit to live well in the present.

We currently offer specialised solutions for women in their mid-life looking for support during the peri-menopause, menopause and post-menopause stages of life.
Coming soon - we will be offering specialist yoga therapy for indivdiuals undergoing cancer treatments or recovering from cancer treatments and offer chair yoga therapy to support those with limited mobility or injuries that may prevent a mat based practise.
